New Mexico Economic Development Department Highlights Morphorm’s Progress in the 2024 TRGR Technology Readiness Initiative Report
The New Mexico Economic Development Department has released its 2024 progress report for the New Mexico TRGR Technology Readiness Initiative, a program designed to support New Mexico companies in advancing lab-developed technologies toward market readiness. Through specialized expertise and state-of-the-art facilities, New Mexico’s national laboratories provide critical services that are otherwise unavailable in the private sector.
Morphorm, in partnership with Sandia National Laboratories, is leveraging this initiative to accelerate the development of its high-performance semiconductor device simulation capabilities. This effort supports Morphorm’s mission to introduce an advanced multiphysics engineering simulation platform to the market. Specifically, the collaboration aims to integrate semiconductor device simulation with Morphorm’s thermal-mechanical simulation toolkit, enabling precise predictions of solar photovoltaic module performance, reliability, and stability. The software will harness graphical processing unit (GPU) acceleration to power computationally intensive multiphysics simulations, significantly enhancing efficiency and scalability.
The project’s ultimate goal is to bring Morphorm’s semiconductor simulation module closer to commercialization, with applications in the solar energy industry, broader commercial sectors, and mission-critical Department of Energy initiatives.
"We are honored to receive support from the New Mexico Technology Readiness Initiative," said Miguel Aguilo, Founder and CEO of Morphorm. "This collaboration with Sandia National Laboratories will help us accelerate the deployment of Morphorm’s technology, driving innovation and competitiveness in the U.S. solar industry."
Since its founding in 2022, Morphorm has been at the forefront of optimization and simulation technologies, delivering real-time design solutions that transform the clean energy, semiconductor, and defense industries. By integrating advanced scientific computing with physics-informed, data-driven methodologies, Morphorm empowers clients to achieve breakthrough innovations, optimizing design workflows, reducing time-to-market, and enhancing operational efficiency.
